BACKGROUND: drenchbar™ is a female-founded skin-care innovation start-up, that set out to disrupt the cold, unpleasant process of putting on conventional lotion and give the world a better way to softer, healthier skin. A first-of-its-kind in format and formula, drenchbar was reinventing body care, focusing on skin wellness, and offering customers a sustainable, travel-friendly, and fun experience for an otherwise tedious task.

OPPORTUNITY: drenchbar™ founder Leah Smolensky was in search of a long-term brand consultant and partner to help guide strategic decision-making across the entire consumer journey. The partnership needed to scale from feedback on product experience including formulation, packaging, and storage, all the way through to the marketing strategy, purchase experience, and product virality focused on growing a customer base and maximizing PR opportunities from industry experts, influencers and publications.

SOLUTION: R Digital partnered with drenchbar™ from inception, consulting on product development and testing, brand and package design, and go-to-market strategies in digital and social - prioritizing a direct-to-consumer journey focused on education and innovation in the beauty CPG space. Supporting both a soft & hard multi-channel launch, R Digital led an extensive set of website optimizations and mixed media integrations to cross-pollinate the powerful UGC from Instagram & TikTok, as well as expert recommendation content, blog creation, product page & SEO optimizations, and design enhancements.
