OPPORTUNITY: Chicago-based Irv & Shelly’s Fresh Picks were looking to create a brand strategy, and subsequent content marketing and execution plan to better captivate their current target audience, while extending their value, reach & service offerings to the growing market of Millenials in Chicagoland.

SOLUTION: Through comprehensive research, we codified the need-states and associated values that act as decision-making triggers for how Millennials source, purchase, and consume fresh foods. We identified the types of content most likely to initiate trials for produce & meal delivery services. A Content Strategy was designed to build credibility for Irv & Shelly’s Fresh Pick’s amongst a large, urban consumer base, complete with a segmented content plan aligned with audience behaviors, and platform best practices.

RESULT: Fresh Picks saw a 140% increase in new customer registration and an 85% increase in sales after implementing the Content Strategy & Activation Plan from 2019 to 2020.
