RESILIENT FUTURES

BACKGROUND: Resilient Futures, a non-profit organization established in 2018, creates and implements Trauma-Informed Equity-Centered programming for schools and organizations across the United States. The organization aims to create safe and supportive learning environments for students and community members, particularly those who have experienced trauma, through training and ongoing consultation with staff and administration.

OPPORTUNITY: Resilient Futures needed a new brand identity to reflect the importance of their work and the many diverse communities they serve. They needed to behave as an industry expert and educational resource, teaching people how to think about adversity and trauma through the lens of resilience, and empowering partners, educators, and students with the knowledge of how trauma presents in children and adults. Resilient Futures needed a way to showcase a wide variety of services, publications, and videos, helping website visitors see the personal and systemic value of meeting trauma responses with empathy and understanding.

SOLUTION: R Digital developed a new brand identity and positioning for Resilient Futures, built upon core principles & values, trauma-informed educational models, and key research about how childhood & adult trauma is perceived and addressed across systems and cultures. We doubled down on positioning RF as a community resource, run by a team of passionate women who founded the organization with a visionary purpose: to cultivate radically inclusive, compassionate, and empowered communities through trauma-informed, equity-centered work designed to drive sustainable change.

Following the brand identity exercise, R Digital developed a style guide and turn-key asset catalog, core marketing materials, and presentation templates. The new brand ID was then applied to a fully responsive website experience, complete with a private client portal, donation platform, and resource-rich, versatile content to both educate and immerse visitors in services-offerings and outcomes. A CRM and custom-designed email marketing system was integrated to maintain continuous contact with a growing donor base, community leaders, participants, and program alumni.
